Key Responsibilities

 

 

  • Support projects to shape strategies of multiple entities within Allianz according the Allianz Strategy process and supporting entities to develop one off strategies
  • Contribute to the implementation of strategic projects cutting across Insurance (Life and Health/ P&C) and Asset Management depending on project flows
  • Provide M&A project consulting for Allianz Business Divisions and Operating Entities including coordinating and steering the work of internal and external stakeholders, generating M&A data book, supporting the financial analysis leading to valuation, preparing presentations for management decision, supporting the post-merger integration and other closing activities 
  • Complete all assignments under the guidance of an Engagement Manager, including all project deadlines and deliverables, troubleshooting and problem resolution, conflict management, client and stakeholder management and all other relevant aspects of the assignments
  • Contribute to pitches under the guidance of an Engagement Manager
  • Analyze and discuss with the Engagement Manager ideas of potential future client needs that may lead to projects
  • Ensure development of colleagues through mentoring

 

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

 

 

  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • More than 3 years of experience in insurance strategy or M&A strategy development, management, and implementation
  • More than 3 years insurance business or consultancy experience
  • Experience in Project- and Program Management methods and techniques, process development and continuous improvement
  • Experience in change management, quality management, integration and re-organization
  • Experience in the entire life cycle of a project, with a focus on the conceptual and implementation phases
  • Presentation, facilitation, sales and conflict management skills
  • Expertise in handling and analyzing financial data
  • Proficiency in using data analysis tools is an advantage, e.g. Python, R, Excel (can perform complex functions)
  • Fluency in written and spoken English


Desired requirements /skills /experience

  • Experience in working with senior management and business on sensitive topics
  • Good project experience
  • Knowledge in data handling, understanding of insurance performance steering
  • International work experience (min. 6 months)
  • Fluency in any other languages will help you better build your network
