Allianz Consulting’s structure focuses on competencies and delivery. Therefore, Allianz Consulting is set-up in Practice Areas that work project and expertise focused. This position is considered for the Practice Area Central Functions with the focus on Finance.


Key Responsibilities


  • Complete all assignments under the guidance of an Engagement Manager, including all project deadlines and deliverables, troubleshooting and problem resolution, conflict management, client and stakeholder management and all other relevant aspects of the assignments
  • Analyze customer needs and develop innovative concepts to best serve them
  • Contribute actively to pitches
  • Provide support to existing clients while ensuring effective and efficient key account management and help and coach more junior project team members
  • Oversee the day to day operations of the assigned tasks until completion
  • Discuss with the Engagement Manager ideas of possible future client needs that may lead to projects
  • General contribution to Allianz Consulting
  • Ensure adequate development of team members via coaching, mentoring, personal development and training


Key Requirements/Skills/Experience



  • University degree preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Consulting or Project Management for more than 5 years, ideally in the insurance or financial services branch
  • Extensive Finance expertise in at least one of the following areas: Actuarial, Accounting, Controlling or Risk Management
  • Experience in change management, quality management, integration and re-organization, conceptual and implementation experience 
  • Strong analytical skills incl. ability to handle and analyze large amount of data and present data in a compelling way to a variety of stakeholders
  • Strong team player with high assertiveness and ability to work under pressure
  • Communication, facilitation, sales and conflict management skills
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; German is a plus


Desired Requirements/ Skills/ Experience

  • Extensive insurance business experience and knowledge
  • Extra-occupational trainings are highly beneficial (e.g. CFA, chartered accountant, actuary)
  • Prior leadership experience
  • Trained in project management
  • International work experience
