Job Purpose/Role


The department “Datacenter Infrastructure (DCI)” in the “Data Center and Cloud Services” division of Allianz Technology is responsible for the overall service management, architecture, projects and products around services for storage, backup, mainframe and Data Center Facilities. Also, this department is hosting the Resilience and Risk topics for the whole IT Infrastructure (A-IF) area. The searched team lead for “IT Resilience Management and IT Performance Consulting“ is responsible for Performance Management, BCM and IT-SCM and Risk Management. As the team lead you will be responsible for the assigned team according to the Allianz leadership values and People Attributes. You will lead the team based on objectives and priorities that can be derived from the Allianz Technology strategy and respective business area directions and steers the implementation and achievement of these. You are also supporting the employees in their personal development and career.


Key Responsibilities


  • Commitment to solving business problems and ensuring customer satisfaction, quality, cost efficiency, stability and technical performance for services, products and solutions within the area of responsibility
  • Laying the foundation for effective team functioning, maintaining clear priorities in alignment with strategy 
  • Delegating, prioritizing and managing tasks, evenly distributing workload and directing capacity within the team
  • Knowledge of the structure of the Group and Allianz Technology as well as the existing process landscape, standards, relevant products, services and organization
  • Analytical mindset as well as methodical and conceptual skills


Key Requirements/Skills/Experience


  • University degree or comparable professional experience
  • Relevant work experience in the area of responsibility
  • Leadership training according to Leadership Passport
  • Deep subject matter knowledge and experience within own discipline and solid understanding of related topics
  • Well-developed communication skills to inform and the ability to negotiate with multiple contacts; often at a senior level
