As part of the Compliance organization, the Allianz Technology Data Privacy Officer and his global Community of Data Privacy Experts and Champions develop and sustain Allianz Technology's privacy strategy and framework, compliant with regulations and Allianz Privacy Standard.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Create and implement legal and compliance standards
  • Identify and resolve issues and recommend preventive and corrective measures
  • Under the management of the Allianz Technology Data Privacy Officer you will work as a Data Privacy Expert in the central Data Privacy Function and
    • Implement Allianz Technology Data Privacy Control Framework (Allianz Technology Data Privacy Policy and Binding,Corporate Rules),
    • Develop any procedures for the organization's privacy programs,
    • Check completeness and compliance of the privacy program based on relevant jurisdictions and laws,
    • Support the assessments of data privacy impact and security risks within the organization,
    • Maintain Register of Processing Activities,
    • Implement and regularly monitor of Data Privacy controls,
    • Evaluate of outsourcing and any other contract with Data Privacy relevance,
    • Support business functions with and handle Data Subject rights and Data Privacy incidents properly,
    • Advice managers and employees on Data Privacy topics,
    • Conduct training on data privacy related topics.


Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

 

  • Higher education degree in law business informatics, business administration, IT etc. Significant (3 – 5 years) experience of working in data privacy, compliance or similar areas
  • Applying analytical thinking, methodological and conceptual as well as consulting, communication and collaboration skills
  • Experienced in risk and information security management. Work experience in an international working environment desirable
  • English and German fluent, other languages is a plus
  • Methodical and structured approach. Data Privacy certification (international / local) is a plus
  • Ability to carry out tasks independently in non-standardized (ever-changing) work situations
  • Competence to exchange complex information with diplomatic tact and to cooperate with a diverse internal and external audience
