We are looking for a motivated Consultant (m/f/d) to join our Productivity Excellence Practice Area. The projects in our area guide our Operational Entities in steering operational risks and implementing risk controls.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze customer needs and develop innovative concepts to meet customers' expectations
Provide support to customers while ensuring effective customer relation and account management and help and coach more junior project team members
Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the assigned tasks until completion
Complete project deadlines and deliverables, troubleshooting and problem resolution, conflict management
Contribute to pitches and develop business ideas under guidance
General contribution to Allianz Consulting development (internal assignments and team development)
Ensure development of colleagues via mentoring and training


Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

University degree or equivalent experience
More than 1 year of experience in risk management which preferably includes designing and implementing risk, governance, and control frameworks, experience in conducting risk assessments; testing business processes and internal controls
Relevant business experience with a focus on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Operational Risk Management or Internal Risk & Controls Systems
Analytical and problem-solving skills, experience with conceptual work and implementation of project plans
Experience in project management
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office including MS Excel (perform complex functions)
Fluency in written and spoken English

Desired requirements /skills /experience
International work experience (min. 6 months)
Relevant experience within a Consulting firm within Compliance, Risk Management, (Operational)
Resilience or Internal/External Audit
Insurance or financial services business experience or knowledge
Additional operational business experience with a focus on Project Risk Management or risk reporting
Experience or knowledge of risk management processes based on certifications such as ISO 31000, Certified Risk Manager (CRM), PMI-RMP (Project Management Institute – Risk Management Professional),
RIMS-Certified Risk Management Professional (RIMS-CRMP), or similar
Basic knowledge on Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), IT Risk Management and ISO 2700X standards
Understanding of internal control methodologies and frameworks (e.g., COSO, PCAOB, US GAAP, SOX environment)
Fluency in any other languages will help you better build your network
