We are looking for a Pricing Actuary (m/f/d), based in Munich

Your Team 
The MidCorp Pricing team is part of the Global Pricing department at Allianz Commercial and is responsible for driving the global implementation of costing and pricing excellence for Mid-Corporate business. You will join an international department located across London, Munich, Bucharest, Singapore, Chicago and New York.

The Impact You Will Have 

Join Allianz Commercial as a pricing actuary to actively define and shape the Group's pricing capabilities in Mid-Corporate. In this role, you will collaborate on various activities to support Allianz operating entities globally to deliver Mid-Corporate pricing excellence.

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

• Support pricing analytics projects end-to-end, employing analytics to streamline data processes and generate insights.
• Contribute to agile development of Mid-Corporate pricing tools, overseeing global implementation, maintenance, and updates.
• Introduce the 'Allianz Technical Price System' across operating entities, managing data, analysis, scenario testing, and renewal strategy.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer through dedicated pricing projects, enhancing understanding of the 'Allianz Technical Price System.
• Monitor and steer portfolio strategies during the system's implementation to optimize outcomes.
• Deliver training on Commercial Lines Pricing through the P&C Academy.
• Collaborate across teams to align pricing tools with business objectives and requirements, and within the wider Global Pricing department of Allianz Commercial.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in a statistical computing language such as Python, SAS, or R. Solid programming skills are essential. Proficiency in WTW Radar is a plus.
• Practical experience in P&C pricing in Commercial or Retail Lines. 
• Ability to relate actuarial pricing problems to data-driven solutions. Hands-on understanding of a wide range of classical and modern statistical and machine learning methods.
• Strong conceptual and strategic aptitude, coupled with flexibility, creativity, and innovative thinking.
• Effective team collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to listen and comprehend quickly. 
• Excellent spoken and written English; other languages would be a plus.
