Position Summary

Opportunity for the candidate to get to know the asset management business from all possible angles by supporting business management on selected projects.

 

Responsibilities

The typical project would have the following aspects:

  • Information Collection, e.g.

           - information from the team (e.g. interviews, brainstorming)

           - market data (e.g. web, business associations, internal data sources, consultants, group )

  • Business Analysis
    - making sense of the collected data
    - understanding business priorities
    - distill findings / proposals into a presentation

All activities would be guided by business management.

 

Experience / Knowledge Qualifications and Skills (required, preferred; technical, functional skills)

  • Student (e.g. Business, Finance, focus on quantitative skills)
  • Excellent English and Japanese reading and writing proficiency
  • Advanced level of Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Good organization and communication skills
  • Motivation, Curiosity, Drive

 

Additional Hiring Criteria

  • Advantage: basic coding skills, e.g. VBA or Python
  • Collaboration over the longer term would be mutually beneficial
  •  no problem with part time
  •  minimum period should be 6 months, longer would be an advantage
