System Support Analyst – Hunter Premium Funding | NSW - Sydney CBD

We are looking for a System Support Analyst to join the team at Hunter Premium Funding based in the Sydney CBD. As the System Support Analyst, you will be the first point of contact for internal and external users requiring technical assistance with two core business systems.

 

In this role you will:

  • Receive, log, prioritise and investigate customer support requests whilst ensuring all system changes are dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Provide quick and flexible solutions keeping within operational guidelines to minimize disruptions to workflow and customer demands.
  • Manage expectations by understanding customer needs, and offering solutions that are complete, easily understood, timely, and mutually satisfying.
  • Ensure all operational processes are as streamlined and effective as possible via constant monitoring, assessment and re-engineering where necessary.
  • Provide data assessments and measure performance of business and system initiates.
  • Design and automate system reports to improve business efficiency and productivity.
  • Formulate and maintain a test plan strategy, provide progress reports in relation to process tests and execute test case scenarios by ensuring that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected.
  • Conduct system testing of new and modified enhancements to ensure they perform the required task and meet the business and technical requirements. Produce implementation plans and ensure implementation occurs according to plans.
  • Manage realisation of solutions to agreed estimates and quality.

 

Skills and Experience required in this role include:

  • Relevant qualification in computer sciences or related fields would be welcomed.
  • Experience in providing information and communication technology problem and request resolution services to clients.
  • Basic technical skills including Web, Java, xml, SQL and a sound understanding of Web, Mobile, and Database technologies.
  • Knowledge of system administration of business systems and databases.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office suite.
  • Highly developed problem-solving skills.
  • Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions.
