The Senior Business Developer (f/m/d)  takes the responsibility for further building AllianzGI' s book of business with Institutional clients in the Nordic countries (primarily Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland).



Role & Responsibilities:


  • Grow the business with existing and new institutional clients in the Nordics by selling a broad range of AllianzGI' s products and services
  • Work as an integral part of the Nordic sales team on the development and implementation of a regional sales strategy
  • Build strong internal networks with key collaborators such as senior managers, product specialists, portfolio managers and sales support
  • Being a conduit into investments for clients, focusing on matching clients’ investment needs to proposition and product sets. Therefore, you plan and prioritize client visits and represent the company in external meetings 
  • Experience from fund raising activities of Private Market products, with an ability to articulate key selling points to sophisticated investors
  • Responsible for analyzing your clients’ needs and coordinating existing services and offerings. By integrating sector-specific know-how in sales activities and product development you ensure that information about current market trends, competitors’ strategies and developments are kept updated.
  • Work on strategies to acquire investment business, develop plans and proposals to improve return on assets and give advice as to how AllianzGI’ s products should be positioned and presented to clients in the Nordic market 
  • Continue to strengthen the AllianzGI brand



Experience / Qualifications and Skills: 


  • University or equivalent degree in business administration, economics or mathematics or min.
  • Several years of work experience in an institutional business development environment.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Strong ability to sell, creativity to identify business opportunities, initiate contact and close new business
  • Detailed understanding of investment markets and associated products across the broad spectrum of investment strategies ranging from public to private markets available to institutional clients within the Nordic Region
  • Ability to understand and explain investment processes of institutional strategies
  • Languages: English and at least one (or more) of the Nordic languages
  • Ideally a good record in remote management set-up and an international working environment
  • Sophisticated digital literacy in MS-Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Ideally experiences with CRM software (Salesforce)
  • Excellent communication and social skills with shown success in delivering high quality presentations to senior and demanding clients
  • Pleasure in establishing good working relationships to clients and colleagues
  • Daring, collaborative and team-oriented demeanor, reliable, well-adapted
  • High degree of energy and ambition
