As a Digital Transformation/ Innovation Management Consultant, you will be part of a crucial part of a business innovation unit within our in-house consultancy at Allianz Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure high quality and timely delivery projects through individual contribution (e.g. driving analysis, project management, developing recommendations)
  • Develop personal knowledge in key topics such as Customer Journeys, Signature Moments, and overall Customer Experiences and be recognized as a subject matter expert by organizational peers and leaders
  • Aid in facilitating (Design Thinking) Workshops and steering idea generation and generate insights and inputs from a diverse (project/workshop) group
  • Develop strong customer relationships with key clients and senior stakeholders through analysis and anticipation of their needs and developing innovative concept to best serve them and their teams
  • Development of internal capabilities to enhance the global Allianz Consulting presence
  • Be engaged in projects that connect the user-, technology- and business perspective
  • Ensure high quality and timely delivery projects through individual contribution (e.g. driving analysis, project management, developing recommendations) and the managing of small project teams (e.g. delegation of tasks, mentoring of junior consultants)
  • Giving valuable input to key business decisions with an entrepreneurial and user-cantered mindset
  • Manage the relationship with the client to ensure the meeting of expectations and allow for future business development
  • Support business development efforts by building relationships across the organization and helping with pitches




Key Requirements/ Skills/ Experience

  • Past experience within the following:
    • Developing user-centred digital products (user research/ prototyping/ user flows/ testing)
    • Business transformation (strategy and implementation)
    • Innovation formats (Hackathons/ design sprints/ ideation contests/ etc)
    • Workshop Facilitation
    • Business Innovation Programs (consulting/ facilitation/ team member)
    • Agile mindset
    • Product Innovation Methodologies (design thinking/ lean start-up etc)
  • Strong project management experience and functional expertise
  • Strong interpersonal skills – able to work well with both junior team members and senior organizational leaders
  • International working experience – able to navigate different working cultures
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving proficiency, including methodological & conceptualization skills, moderation and presentation.
  • Passionate, self-driven and independent with a knack for creativity & innovative thinking
  • Fluent in spoken and written English. Second language would be an advantage
  • Experience leading a team and managing direct reports is a bonus
