Entity: Allianz Insurance Singapore

The incumbent will be part of the Actuarial team within Allianz Insurance Singapore. He/she will carry out a valuation actuary role for the P&C business for Allianz Insurance Singapore which includes data manipulation, reserve calculation, maintenance of claims development. He/she will also assist in the production/reviewing of key reports, conduct and present experience analysis to help management in driving the profitability and performance of the company. In addition, the person will also support in implementation of IFRS17 such as onerous product testing.


  • P&C Valuation under Singapore RBC framework. This includes Reserve and Solvency Capital Adequacy calculation and projection under Singapore RBC and under IFRS17.
  • Conduct IFRS17 work such as onerous testing as part of BAU.
  • In charge of producing/reviewing reports for internal and external parties such as: Sales reports, Persistency reports, Claims/Loss experience reports.
  • Conduct experience analysis and present results to stakeholders.
  • Conduct UAT on system developments especially when developments are feeding into production of reports or IFRS17 calculations.
  • Carry out reinsurance reporting and billings.


  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial, Engineering, Commerce, Accountancy or others
  • Minimum 3-6 years experience working in P&C insurance company either in FP&A team or other actuarial teams (etc. pricing, valuation)
  • IFRS17 experience is ideal experience, though not required
  • Understanding of key P&C insurance actuarial technical concepts
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong stakeholder management ability with ability to influence without authority
  • High standards of accuracy and precision, highly organized
  • Strong analytical skills
