Role & Responsibilities

Account Management (80%)

  • To be responsible for servicing assigned clients;
  • To help with front-line sales level


Sales support and administrative work of team (20%)

  • To prepare sales kit, handle client enquiry / fulfilment;
  • To bulk material dispatch, delivery logistics


Responsibilities include:
Product Strategy

  • Responsible for understanding local market needs, sentiments, competition, business model
  • Conduct local market product research, conceive sales ideas and leveraging global investment platforms’ resources to develop and help management in monitoring trends in the mutual fund market for ongoing strategic planning.


Product Advisory

  • To conduct regular sales calls to front line sales level (bottom up sales)
  • To handle all client enquiries & fulfil all client requests (bottom up serving)
  • To acquire full grasp of client’s selling/distribution cycle
  • To capture all opportunities to fitting our product to client selling cycle
  • To fight for shelf space in the market with any appropriate marketing tactics
  • To implement all sorts of sales briefing/programs/events
  • To support team in all external events
  • To coordinate daily market briefing to team on any news update

  • To handle client database of team and prepare client-specific sales kits

  • To coordinate with production team in preparing bulk materials

  • To handle all delivery logistics and team administrations



Experience / Knowledge Qualifications and Skills

  • University Degree
  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience in financial industry, preferably in asset management
  • Knowledge /ability to explain/sell other financial products eg. Insurance, unit-linked products (preferred)
  • Outgoing, keen to progress a career in financial services sales and marketing
  • Good business sense and market feel
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Intimate knowledge of markets
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
