Job Purpose

'This is a 6-month contract role to support the Regional Life and Health (LH) Chief Actuary on the review of LH Operating Entities (OEs) reporting and ensure the quality and timeliness of deliverables. Also, to support with product approval process so as to gain exposure to an understanding of each Asia OEs' market and product landscape. 

What you do

- Support and review OEs' reporting results and provide inputs for regional results to the Group office, address queries raised by Group centers
- Provide technical guidance and support to LH OEs on the reporting work and ensure OEs' initiatives are implemented
- Provide ad-hoc support on M&A projects and ensure the financials are sound
- Review product submission for Regional approval
- Review OE assumption reports 
- Involve in strategic/planning dialogue process when required
 

What you bring

- More than 8+ years of experience in the dynamic insurance industry 
- At least 5+ years of working experience in actuarial function
- Able to work independently 
- Work well in a team and good interpersonal skill is essential 
- Willing to travel within Asia

- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial or equivalent 

- Qualified or nearly-Qualified actuary

- Understand future challenges of future new actuarial requirements change
