Job Purpose


This role is responsible for analysing software, systems and programs according to business requirements by learning through experiences and being self-organised while working on a problem. This role will also be actively involved in the integration and system testing of developed systems / applications. The incumbent will be a member of the DevTeam among 3 scrum teams and will be reporting to the Engineering Manager - APAC.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, define and maintain documentations in an agile scrum team.
  • Study and validate user requirement, review and make suggestions to improve IT procedures, standards and/or guidelines.
  • Deliver business analysis work during every sprint and is heavily involved in solution design, support development and testing extensively.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders and team members across the globe in various timezones and regionally in Asia Pacific.
  • Active participation in sprint planning, daily standup, review, retrospective and demo


Key Requirements/Skills/Experience


Type of Experience:

  • IT Professional experience (ideally financial services sector)
  • Experience with the SDLC lifecycle
  • International work experience / worked abroad
  • Experience with Scrum Team


Technical skills:

  • Business analysis and testing
  • Agile Fundamentals
  • General insurance knowledge


General skills:

  • Ability to express thoughts and ideas clearly through speech and able to absorb the information given by a speaker clearly
  • Analytical skills
  • International competence (including intercultural awareness)


Education / Certification:

  • In relevant field such as IT, computer science, business
  • Professional qualifications preferred



  • English (fluent - native level)
