Key Responsibilities
- Wing-to-wing responsibilities for all investment management and portfolio management activities for allocated investments, including but not limited to:
- Life Cycle Asset Management
- Prepare and implement the asset/investment level business plan
- Identify and appoint service providers for investments
- Work with the service providers to ensure proper upkeep of asset quality and investment performance
- Provide portfolio and asset management reporting
- Custodian of investment related governance
- Review on-going valuations conducted by 3rd party valuers
- Initiate and execute on ESG related strategies
- Dispositions
- Lead the sale of assets/investments and prepare divestment memo
- Support investment activities
- Support underwriting analysis of investment opportunities
- Conduct site visit assessments and provide market research and analysis relating to the investment opportunities
- Support the preparation of investment memos for Investment Committee approvals
- Work with the deal team to conduct due diligence of investment opportunities approved by the Investment Committee
- Participate in the negotiation of definitive agreements with counter parties
- Support the closing and documentation process
- Life Cycle Asset Management
- Develop and manage relationships, inbound and outbound, including investors, partners, sellers, managers, agents, and advisors, etc.
Key Requirements
- Strong academic background, with preference for specialization in real estate investment management/engineering/finance
- Minimum 5 years of experience in real estate industry
- Good understanding of real estate markets in Asia Pacific, ideally with regional experience
- Strong English communications skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
- Ability to manage diverse stakeholders
- Flexibility to travel
