Job Purpose/Role


As Head of Distribution for Singapore & Malaysia, you will lead local business development activities with our key business partners.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead business development activities with key business partners (ie. brokers, fronters and banks);

• Represent and promote Allianz Trade and generate business opportunities into growth and profitability.

• Maintain effective and productive relationships with key external (ie. regulator and industry bodies) and internal (ie. Regional office/ other business units in Allianz) stakeholders

• Demonstrates leadership qualities by effectively managing, engaging, and developing Singapore &Malaysia sales team

• Ability to resolve issues through collaborative problem solving

• Develop and execute the company's distribution strategy in line with your individual and your team's sales targets

• Apply commercial underwriting standards to ensure profitability and quality of customer portfolio

• Achieve personal and team targets assigned by the management.


Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

• Solid experience in B2B sales from insurance, banking or credit management industries. Direct experience in trade credit insurance a plus.

• Strong track record of building sustainable and profitable business through managing a sales team.

• Ability to build extensive local network.

• Strategic insights of country and industry knowledge

• Strong communication and influencing skills
