Senior Business Development Manager 

This position is to achieve new business targets through the assigned distribution channels and inline with the ASEAN distribution strategy. The candidate will have his/her own new business targets to build a profitable and sustainable trade credit insurance portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

•    Identifying business opportunities to develop profitable portfolio in line with the company’s distribution strategy
•    Generating new leads and acquire new customers, managing existing customers if needed,
•    Building and maintain relationships with fronting insurers, brokers, insurance agents and banks
•    Deliver individual sales activities and new business targets.
•    Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
•    Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
•    Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs 
•    Register/record and maintain data of the sales activities in the CRM system.
•    Any ad hoc tasks by the managers.


Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
•    At least 5 years relevant experience in Financial services B2B sales and consultative selling in Expert know-how in specifics of market
•    Ability to build extensive network with prospects, market players and opinion leaders
•    Ability to generate and convert leads
•    Expert knowledge in sales and negotiation skills
•    Ability to liaise with members of other core functions
•    Ability to convince customers in negotiations
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) in English
