To support our continuous growth and build out in Asia Pacific, we are currently hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented Project Manager. This position is based in our Hong Kong | Singapore office.

In this role you will be responsible for managing cross-functional projects across the end-to-end value chain of our Asset Management business, with a domain focus on Technology and Operations.



Facilitating cross-functional projects for the Technology & Operations domains:

  • Leading New Business Activities / New Products Initiatives, in their assessment, operational architecture review and in case evaluated positively in their project-based implementation
  • Carrying out project feasibility studies, business case calculations and project presentations in complete independence
  • Steering, monitoring and reporting of projects (incl. risk and dependency management) to our senior executives
  • Developing of appropriate governance models for the respective projects
  • Supporting potential M&A activities in the Asia Pacific region: managing the due diligence with a focus on Operations & Technology, leading Post Merger Integration projects
  • Leading project communications with our senior management teams and external partners
  • Working with stakeholders from all functions to implement the project and transition to BAU teams
  • Assessing and understanding regulatory / risk requirements from a Technology & Operations perspective, as input into project approach / implementation
  • Identifying opportunities for digitization and automation for efficiency enhancement and support on implementation
  • Understanding features and local requirements for establishing access to new markets (including establish operational processes, evaluate outsourced service provider, identify system requirements, and coordinate testing)
  • Evaluating organizational structures / business processes and recommendation of improvements
  • Building, maintaining, and reporting projects using Microsoft Project Online PowerBI and other relevant tools



  • Excellent university degree in Business Administration, Economics, IT, Engineering, or related field of study
  • Experience in running large size projects or programs in the financial services industry in complete independence
  • Experience in handling projects and change initiatives with an international / cross-regional scope
  • Experience in project / budget / business case calculations as well as conducting RfIs / RfPs
  • Ability to run waterfall, hybrid, and agile projects
  • High level of motivation, strong dedication, energetic and result-oriented attitude
  • Preferred: multiple years in an investment management or financial services firm with a profound knowledge of different business models across Operations and IT functions



  • Proficiency in English, Mandarin; knowledge of other Asia Pacific dialects (e.g. Cantonese) or languages would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication, people-, and stakeholder management skills to be applied in conveying impactful recommendations to senior management and external partners
  • Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Project Online and PowerBI as well as the full MS365 suite
  • Ability to work independently and calmly under pressure
  • Good understanding of the end-to-end investment management value chain and key regulatory requirements would be a plus
