In this role you will underwrite new and renewal business to meet the line of business targets, as well as lead negotiation of participation, pricing, terms and conditions on profitable approach.


You will have ownership of accounts / clients, as well as  maintain relationship with retail and facultative brokers and clients.


Based in São Paulo, you will report to the Regional Head of Financial Lines Ibero Latam and will be challenged to work independenty within the Authority.


In this role you will:


•  Participate in the development and execution of regional Underwriting strategy

•  Underwrite profitable business to meet top and bottom line targets

•  Negotiate participation, pricing and terms and conditions with retail brokers

•  Proactively manage capacity according to AGCS guidelines

•  Underwrite and evaluate reputational risks for AGCS and Allianz Seguros, ensuring to be compliant with our guidelines.

•  Ensure accurate policy documentation issued to broker or to AGCS

•  Proactively support acquisition of new business and retention of existing business  (including client and broker negotiations where necessary)

•  Proactively liaise with MMC on market management initiatives


In this role we expect from you:


•  Proven track record in underwriting profitable business in the line of business and understanding its products and portfolio

•  Demonstrable and established relationships with retail brokers at peer group level

•  Good understanding of regional / local line of business insurance markets and competitor landscape

•  Understanding of legal and regulatory framework

•  Experience working in complex, global matrix organization

•  Fluent in Portuguese and English.  Spanish advanced skills are a plus.
