Our Pricing Department is currently undertaking a number of exciting projects that will help us shape the insurance landscape of the future and with that, we’re currently recruiting for a number of roles within our Team! Based in Rotterdam, the Dutch Pricing, Underwriting and Fraud chapter consists of very experienced analysts who align closely with the business and are part of an international community. We’re seeking talented pricing Analysts to undertake both statistical and machine learning analysis and support product and pricing development, improving the offerings to our customers. The role operates under a hybrid approach where we adopt a flexible working environment with a strong focus on continuous learning and development.

Your responsibilities:


  • Contribute to our continuous improvement of pricing models and reports
  • Propose and implement pricing changes (we value ideas over hierarchy)
  • Develop the tariff for new products or covers
  • Carry out and deliver pricing analysis, interpret the output and communicate the results to a technical & non-technical audience
  • Join an international community of talented pricing analysts to understand best practices and keep aligned with the best ways of working


What we are looking for

We expect:

  • MSc in a relevant technical field such as econometrics, data science or actuarial sciences.
  • High analytical skills, a creative mind and a keen interest in data driven decision making across Pricing.
  • Solid knowledge of relevant statistical modelling methods – in particular GLMs
  • Interest in relevant machine learning techniques – in particular GBMs
  • Experience in one or more programming languages such as Python, R or SAS while knowledge of pricing software such as Radar and Emblem is a strong advantage.
  • Fluency in English. Able to communicate complex topics in a clear and precise manner to
  • audiences with different backgrounds and at different levels.
  • A sense of humor. Together we can deliver high performance and have fun at the same time.
  • Available at least 32 hours per week.
