As Manager, Claims Automation and Innovation you will play an instrumental role in the development and implementation of our new claims automation and fraud detection systems.  You will work with project leaders and development team to ensure the new claims process will benefit our customers and company.  During the implementation phases of the new system, you will lead the change management initiatives for everyone that uses the system.

 

Once completed you will transition into a manager role within the claims organization.  You will also lead the Allianz claims organization that directly interacts with our customer and ensure we implement the claims strategy as well as a group of team leaders and claims initiatives to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the claims department.  You’ll provide the highest level of customer service by ensuring we meet all timely and accurate claims service standards. And you will actively develop the technology environment and processes to exceed all expectations and be prepared for further growth opportunities in a highly engaging environment

 

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

 

 

  • Support creation and implantation of the claims strategy and autonomously run the day to day activities your team to achieve our goals

  • Provide operations leadership for technology initiatives that influence the environment our claim process uses

  • Use external benchmarking information to evaluate and improve the operations process and technology solution

  • Lead the operations anti-fraud team to ensure that we are an industry leader in identifying and eliminating fraud in all operational processes

  • Provide monitoring of internal controls to confirm the processes and systems are working as designed

  • Lead a group of Team Leaders and examiners, motivate and elevate level of performance across the team.  Hold people accountable and actively manages the talent on the team

  • Rigorously analyzes metrics to proactively monitor results and address gaps to goals- develop a plan, implement, measure and repeat until gap is remediated

  • Uses data as a key input into running the team and evaluating individual and process performance. Can look at data to draw conclusions, solve problems or identify problems that need solving

  • Effectively communicate verbally, written and through presentations to influence in a succinct manner

  • Readily identify anomalies or changes in the work and proactively resolves issues as required through a deep understanding of processes, policies and procedures.

  • Actively support projects to improve our processes and technology.  Ensure we have an effective change management process throughout the department

 

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or combination of relevant education and work experience.

  • Minimum of ten (10) years’ management experience in a high-volume customer-focused environment.

  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding customer satisfaction measurements

  • Experience with successfully leading transformation process changes within an Operations environment
