Position Summary

As Regulatory Fund Documents Specialist located in Asia Pacific you will be responsible for the coordination of the whole report production process for fund ranges in HK, SG and other locations in the region. You will liaise with many internal and external parties, such as Compliance, Risk, Fund Accountant and Auditors and work in an international environment with the opportunity to support the project of Global Harmonization of such processes.


Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordination of report preparation process for the full HK fund range in collaboration with internal and external parties.
  • Oversight of whole report production process for HK and SG domiciled funds incl. Coordination with auditors, fund accountants and other service providers according to agreed timetable
  • Administration of report related information and answering ad-hoc requests from internal parties
  • Support of report preparation process in Europe and contribute to the project of Global Harmonization of such processes
  • Coordination of audit process and support in affiliating processes such as Representation Letters and audit fee negotiation / review.
  • On an ad-hoc basis, support fund administration oversight related duties and projects


Experience / Qualifications and Skills

  • University degree holder in Business/Economics/Accounting/Finance
  • CPA is a plus
  • Minimum 8 years of working experience in Audit Firms/Fund Accounting in AP region
  • Experience with an asset manager focusing on regulatory reporting and/or Fund administration is a definite advantage
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High commitment, motivation and willingness to take on responsibility
  • The ability to work independently as well as the ability to work flexibly in a team environment and to think out of the box
  • Deep knowledge of MS Office products, especially MS Excel
  • Affinity to figures; careful, structured and reliable method of operation
  • Knowledge of asset management regulations and related requirements in terms of Regulatory Documents
  • Strong analytical skills with high level of accuracy and keen attention to detail
  • Language: fluent in English and Cantonese. Mandarin is a plus.
  • Project management skills
  • Strongly prefer candidates already in Hong Kong with permanent residency
