We are looking for an Account Technician – based in Paris.

 

Your Team 
Within the French Operations department in charge of managing insurance contracts on our Specialty (Aviation, Marine, Technical risks) lines, you will be in charge of managing a portfolio of brokers / clients in France.

 

The Impact You Will Have 
You will be required to: 

  • Serve our clients and brokers by responding to their requests and managing their policies throughout the year (drawing up contractual documents, certificates, invoicing, payment follow-up...)
  • Provide efficient support to the underwriting department by ensuring the preparation of data required for portfolio renewal as well as the implementation of new business: inputting or updating data in the pricing or underwriting systems, carrying out certain verifications prior to studying the risk
  • Supporting other departments on matters requiring the contribution of the French Operations department: management of accounting suspense and arrears, audit of compliance with underwriting rules, questions from the Claims department, etc.


Some of your specific responsibilities could include

  • Provide quality and timely service to our clients and brokers: management of insurance contracts, billing and miscellaneous requests. Develop strong working relationships with our brokers
  • Prepare data for contract renewal and implementation: update underwriting or pricing tools, verify premium payments, produce claims statistics on accounts to be renewed, perform controls related to sanctions and reputation risks
  • Accurately and timely enter key data into underwriting systems, update data in various computer systems/databases 
  • Update underwriting tools/screens for underwriters to perform risk analysis
  • Collaborate effectively with all of our underwriting, claims, third party and technical accounting teams


What You’ll Bring to the Role

  • At least 2 years of policy management experience in an underwriting support or management role
  • Technical knowledge of policies and endorsements 
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Good written and verbal English skills
  • Strong commitment to customer service
  • Team player
  • Good relationship with all departments
  • Highly motivated, proactive and autonomous
