At AGCS our Human Resources department has an in-depth understanding of the business, to deliver a best-in-class support and counsel service to our managers.

 

Reporting directly to the Regional Head of HR, as a Senior HR Consultant for the MEDA Region, you will be responsible for the delivery of HR issues to the business, acting as both counsel and coach for managers with regards to HR initiatives, policies, procedures and compensation/Benefits. You will provide advice and support, to motivate and retain employees in a challenging and fast changing business environment.

 

Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Act as the face of HR to the business
  • Implement/execute/Define HR process(es) regionally, including topics such as:
    • Compensation review, Benefits programs, Performance Management
    • Data Management
    • Grading
  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with managers, listening to them to understand their context and challenges
  • Support managers in identifying and managing high performing/high potential individuals and ensure succession plans are in place for key positions. Work with managers to identify future people requirements
  • Consult managers on employee relations topics
  • Provide support for the business regarding HR processes
  • Play an active role in implementing regional and global HR projects and initiatives, build a regional community for compensation and benefits topics
  • Monitor position planning

 

To be successful in the role:

You will have….

  • A degree or Masters in a related field
  • Previous experience in a matrix environment supporting multiple locations
  • Analytical and numerical skills, able to analyse complex data from multiple sources (eg detailed compensation calculations, complex global processes, conflicting information)
  • Technical expertise in at least 1 HR topic (eg compensation, talent management)
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • You express your ideas and messages clearly and with confidence, both written and verbally, and can facilitate discussions/workshops
  • You are able to handle negotiations and delicate situations with tact and diplomacy, able to steer discussions to a solution
