Role Purpose:

Provide an effective and efficient administration and processing service to support Sales and Broker Administration via the global sales management processes and tools, including Salesforce.com.  Ability and desire to learn about AGCS Broker Management requirements and historic and new business applications, adapting to an ever changing broker environment.  Establish and maintain effective relationships within the scope of the role providing clear and concise communication (oral (including presenting information) and written) to improve the customer experience and achieve desired results.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide our brokers and insureds with assistance that is consistent with documented procedures
  • Provide an effective and efficient administration and processing service to support Sales and Broker Administration via the global sales management process and tools, including Salesforce.com and any other applicable applications
  • Help people help themselves. Know and understand all training material, job aids, resources, etc. received by Field employees and their customers and utilize so reference and reinforcement of the tools are provided at every opportunity.  Identify and pursue other ideas to help people help themselves
  • Understand the employee’s needs as well as those of their customer.  Recognize what the employee may not know they need and be proactive in addressing that need
  • Using standardized format, develop, clarify and/or update process documentation on Desktop.  Develop, publish and refine Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and help identify opportunities for additional process or training material

 

Required Skills:

  • Degree preferred (Marketing, Business Administration or Economics preferred)
  • 1-3 years of experience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM applications
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering in an analytical role (preferably in a sales environment, although potentially experience in controlling roles or similar would also be of value)
  • Evidence of strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with both internal and external partners and customers.     
  • Exposure to SFDC or other relevant CRM databases are an advantage.
  • Demonstrable experience of working effectively with MS Office tools, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to effectively execute essential functions in support of a sales team.
  • Understanding of the insurance sales life cycle. 
  • Portfolio performance: Ability to monitor and analyze portfolio performance.
  • Experience or knowledge of various channels of sales (e.g. broker, tied agent, direct).
