Summary of Job

Responsible for  handling customer service inquiries by taking both inbound customer calls and inbound email and either resolving the inquiry or transferring to the appropriate party to resolve. Also responsible for set up of accounts for Brokers, Direct Bill Clients, Coinsurers and Reinsurers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Responds to high volume of inbound customer phone calls and resolves the query / issue or transfers to appropriate party to resolve.                                                  
  • Sets up and performs maintenance on accounts for Brokers, Direct Bill Clients, Coinsurers and Reinsurers.                                                                      
  • May perform collection activities for open items: collection calls/letters, consult with Operations & Underwriting, etc.                                                                      
  • Assist with projects, customer service calls / emails or cash allocation / early stage collection activities as assigned. 


Required Experience

  •  1 - 3 yrs Billing and Collections, Insurance Operations or Accounts Receivables experience.            
  • Experience in Insurance, preferred            
  • Experience with SAP GL and AR system, preferred            
  • Experience working for an international organization, preferred    
  • Solid computer literacy, with proficiency in MS Office software e.g. Excel, Word. PowerPoint        
  • Accounting technical knowledge to accurately record accounting transactions       
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills     
  • Associate degree in Business, Accounting or Finance, preferred 
  • Must be customer service driven detail oriented and a team player.        
  • Strong organizational skills. Ability to multitask in order to manage assignments        
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
