Role Purpose:

Working with the Head of Marketing and other marketing team members, and the Marketing Director role will drive the marketing strategy for the North America lines of business, claims and risk consulting and deploys integrated marketing plans aligned to the goals of the region. 

The Marketing Director will partner and collaborate with the key internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with the overall strategy and value proposition. This position is responsible for creating a culture and framework for market and customer-based marketing plans and will look to proactively identify market opportunities through market research and analysis.

The successful candidate works within a highly matrixed environment, partnering closely with marketing and business leadership to develop strategy and supports execution with internal stakeholder groups, including digital marketing operations, data and analytics teams, market insights, and legal and compliance to execute best strategy.


Key Responsibilities:


Line of Business/Service Marketing Planning:

  • Package, position and promote innovative capabilities that differentiate AGCS's offerings to target audiences.
  • Develop and implement a framework to enhance marketing capabilities across the North America lines of business, claims and risk consulting, and drive consistency in the development of marketing/communications plans. 
  • Implement an operational marketing model to monitor and leverage customer insights, market data, competitive analysis, product analysis, industry trends and outlooks, etc. in coordination with the product marketing specialist.

Product/Service Marketing:

  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders and leadership teams to define the value proposition, differentiators, customer experience, etc. at the product/service level within the context of the overall AGCS value proposition.
  • Develop a framework of product/service messaging for marketing, communications and promotional initiatives and activities.
  • Brief and oversee the work of external agencies; ensure accuracy of marketing materials. Ensure that our brand and identity is adhered to in campaigns and in all communication channels.

Project Management & Measurement:

  • Develop a consistent approach to monitor and measure the effectiveness of marketing/communications initiatives and campaigns at the marketing plan level.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver insights and measurement for all marketing initiatives; deliver regular reports of campaign results, including response analysis and evaluation of KPIs.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage an annual budget in collaboration with the Head of Marketing.

Customer Service:  

  • Implementing the NPS survey,  liaising with global teams and internal stakeholders and follow-up on action items.  Contribute to achieving NPS goals. 


Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree or postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Communications or related field required.
  • MBA in marketing preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience and strong strategic marketing track record with extensive hands-on experience of marketing planning and implementation.
  • Deep understanding of marketing concepts. Demonstrated ability to develop a fact-based market/business strategy. large scale, complex marketing plan.
  • Skill in accurately interpreting marketing research, market trends and consumer insights and ability to translate into actionable marketing initiatives.
  • Strategic orientation and experience implementing large scale, complex business/marketing initiatives with demonstrated results.
