What you do:


  • Complete all assignments under the guidance of an Engagement Manager, including all project deadlines and deliverables, troubleshooting and problem resolution, conflict management, client and stakeholder management and all other relevant aspects of the assignments
  • Analyze customer needs and develop innovative concepts to best serve them
  • Contribute to pitches under the guidance of an Engagement Manager
  • Provide support to existing clients while ensuring effective and efficient key account management and help and coach more junior project team members
  • Contribute to the day to day operations of the assigned tasks until completion
  • Discuss with the Engagement Manager ideas of possible future client needs that may lead to projects
  • General contribution to Allianz Consulting
  • Ensure adequate development of colleagues via mentoring and training


A successful candidate will have background in:


  • Provide architectural vison, innovation and leadership in the definition, establishment, documentation, implementation, and continuous updates of company-wide, regional, and international Enterprise Architecture policies, standards, methods and procedures.
  • Analyze the technology portfolio to identify weaknesses and work with IT management to develop opportunities for improvements such as expanding capacity, reducing complexity, reducing time & cost, and increasing effectiveness.
  • Evaluate and select technical solutions based on Allianz Life business and technical requirements and standards.
  • Develop both conceptual and detailed architectural plans, and work with internal and external partners and providers to drive the plans to completion with a focus on the realization of the defined business value.
  • Define & maintain Architecture blueprints, policies, patterns, processes, standards and best practices.
  • Research and present industry best practices to IT and business stakeholders at all levels. Conduct research of various case studies to ascertain trends, needed technologies and resources.
  • Provide architectural supervision, support, mentoring, and guidance to develop skills of fellow architects and analysts.
  • Participate in Architecture and solution design reviews for compliance with IT standards, policies and architectural plans. 
  • Work with international parent company to align global strategy and standards with local agendas/initiatives


 What you bring:


  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • Operational business and/or consultancy experience for more than 3 years
  • Experience in Project- and Program Management methods and techniques, process development and continuous improvement
  • Experience in change management, quality management, integration and re-organization as well as training and lecturing
  • High attendance to learn and develop
  • Strong team player with high assertiveness and ability to work under pressure with limited guidance
  • Analytical and problem solving skills, conceptual and implementation experience
  • Communication, facilitation, sales and conflict management skills
  • Strategic and operational management experience
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office; nice to have: Oracle, SQL and SAS
  • Fluent in written and spoken English


Desired Requirements/ Skills/ Experience


  • Insurance business experience and knowledge
  • Knowledge in data handling as well as understanding of insurance performance steering
  • International work experience (min. 6 months)



Range $71,000 - $143,000

Actual base salary may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual incentive program.
