What you do:

As a Underwriting Support Analyst/Specialist, you’ll play a key role in Allianz Life’s growth and long-term success by supporting key activities in the underwriting process.  This role will report to the Chief Underwriter.

• You will maintain underwriting documentation related to programs, reinsurance guidelines, internal and external rules and regulations.
• Coordinate support for internal and external audits, including organizing system access, physical space, etc.
• Identify opportunities and strategies to improve business efficiencies in the Underwriting experience.
• Provide reports and/or data, as requested by Underwriting Leadership.
• Partner with Subject Matter Experts to develop and implement procedural improvements and training opportunities / materials.
• Represent Underwriting in projects related to activities involving correspondence, basic process, and appropriate regulatory changes, keeping Underwriting Leadership current on progress and making recommendations for actions to achieve desired outcome.
• Provide triage support for activities like MIB Plan F’s (based on experience)
• Assist in onboarding new underwriting staff.

What you bring:

• 4+ years of experience required:  Life insurance experience
• Four year degree required: or equivalent work experience

Base Salary Range $54,000 - $108,000

Actual base salary may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual incentive program.
