What you do:

The CRM Administrator performs administration, support, maintenance, and custom configuration of the Allianz Life instance of Salesforce.com.  The administrator acts as a liaison between the user and the CRM technology, implementing solutions that meet the business need, improve data quality and leverage Salesforce.com best practices.

  • Partner with IT and business to develop and deploy updates, enhancements, and new system functionality including the creation of new custom and standard objects, reports, dashboards formulas, triggers, and workflows.  Coordinate and/or assist with functional UAT and QA of new CRM system features.  Create training materials and user documentation, and help maintain ongoing documentation processes/repositories as business needs evolve or features are added. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce support requests from end users.  Manage security, users, roles, profiles, layouts, groups, sharing rules and other setup options across business areas. 
  • Support, maintain, and enhance other third party applications within the CRM ecosystem.  This includes, but is not limited to Seismic, Geopointe, and Timetrade.
  • Serve as a SME for Salesforce.com capabilities and best practices, working closely with business partners and IT to realize the full capabilities of the Salesforce.com platform and other ecosystem applications.
  • Prepare files and upload data into Salesforce.com using data loader or other 3rd party tools. 


What you bring:

  • 2+ years’ experience required; experience working on large, cross-functional project teams as a BA, PM or SME.
  • Experience with software delivery life cycle and project management methodologies
  • Experience with data management and relational database design and familiarity with data formats, tables joins, ETL, etc.
  • Experience working within a medium to large instance of Salesforce (200+ users)
  • Two-year degree required: Business, Computer Science or related field
  • Salesforce administrator certification within 6 months of hire (if not already obtained)



  • 4+ years’ experience preferred
  • Experience as a CRM administrator/developer (Salesforce.com) in a financial services or Insurance organization
  • Experience with scrum or other agile frameworks preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
