What you do:

 

  • Conduct policy research related to regulatory and legislative developments affecting the financial services industry, including in the areas of retirement security, capital markets, tax, trade, cybersecurity, and more
  • Draft weekly reports on the aforementioned research meant to be sent out to over 2,500 internal and external stakeholders, including Allianz company executives
  • Attend meetings and events held by trade associations and affiliated organizations
  • Prepare memos briefing senior executives on Congressional hearings relevant to the interests of the company
  • Organize and manage the fly-ins of company distributors and executives to connect them with relevant policymakers
  • Edit speeches written by company executives
  • Help manage the day-to-day operations of the Allianz of America office

 

What you bring:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree plus one year of experience required OR Master's degree
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Self-starter
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Interest in financial services preferred, but not required
