What you do:

Responsible for leading and advancing the design and delivery of the company’s ethics program as part of the Ethics and Compliance function. Knowledgeable in compliance and risk management and is viewed as an expert resource on ethics policy and frameworks for the company. Acts as a steward for the company’s core values by effectively engaging with stakeholders on initiatives that promote and strengthen company culture. Responsible for successfully leading multiple projects with minimal direction. May be tasked with special assignments in support of department and company strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and manage the execution of the ethics program and plan for Allianz Life including ongoing training, communication and management of related initiatives.
  • Act as a steward for company core values by engaging the business and leadership in ongoing efforts around ethical decision making and promoting our listen up / speak up culture. 
  • Coordinate quarterly Ethics Committee meetings, helping to ensure an agenda that is informative, relevant and engaging.
  • Lead World’s Most Ethical company submission and related program improvements.
  • Responsible for effectively communicating ethics trends to the business through the use of reporting and analytics.
  • Responsible for overseeing company integrity line cases, conflicts of interest, 1033 disclosures and gifts and entertainment in concert with other responsible compliance personnel.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders through ongoing engagement including effective interactions with business leadership.
  • Contribute to internal thought leadership through active involvement in industry events; maintain industry contacts.
  • Identify, research and resolve complex issues independently.

 

What you bring:

 

  • Four-year degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Comfortable working with data, technology and IT systems
  • Sound project and program management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, comfortable interfacing with all levels of stakeholders
  • Ability to develop practical solutions and approaches to complex problems
