What you do:

Leads the design of integrated data products, including development, implementation, and rollout to Enterprise Business Intelligence business partners.  Identifies data sources, consolidates/normalizes data sets, works with the Data Office to provide data definition and data lineage capabilities for the data product, and optimizes data product per data product consumer's requests.  Develop a close working relationship with business stakeholders to identify requirements for data product enhancements and maintains a data product roadmap.  Guides other Data Product designers in the development of data products.  Leverages views, dimensional models, relational, and tabular data structures to meet business needs.

  • Data Products Leader responsible for creating fit-for-purpose data products in alignment with business partners by identifying critical data, shaping data into the data product, and delivering to data product consumer
  • Leads development of data product roadmaps across domains in alignment with business partners in collaboration with Data Office, Enterprise Architecture, and Data Services
  • Develops and implements logical and physical data designs for data products across multiple data stores; supports development of KPIs and other metrics as maintained by Business Partners and the Data Office
  • Coordinate data product releases with data consumers, EBI, Data Services, and other collaboration teams.  Provide thought leadership on the use of Enterprise Data Assets in the form of Data Products
  • Collaborate with EBI, Enterprise Architecture, Data Services, and Business Partners to provide best practices for development of data products
  • Leverages existing investments such as Wherescape, TIBCO Data Virtualization, SSAS, SSRS, PowerBI, Informatica (Axon, EDC, IDQ) Exasol, PowerShell, and Python to create, deliver, and maintain data products
  • Communicates across the enterprise on the availability and roadmap for data products
  • Coaches and mentors others on the use of data products, data tools, and data concepts

 

What you bring:

  • 6+ years’ experience required: data vault 2.0 modeling, development and use
  • Modern cloud data stack and warehousing experience
  • Data consumption design and use
  • Demonstrated experience with SQL, Wherescape, Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, API’s and PowerBI
  • Bachelor’s degree required
