What you do:

Gathers, analyzes, comments, and reports on investment performance data in close collaboration with the Portfolio Management and Investment Operations team as well as external providers. Supports the Investment Strategy team in setting up and maintaining benchmarks and performance attribution reports to provide insights into performance drivers. Identifies process breaks & inefficiencies and data quality issues that affect performance inputs and outputs and drives the resolution together with internal and external experts such as Corporate Risk Management and Investment Accounting. Single Point of Contact for all pricing, valuation, and rating related questions.

 

  • Investment performance analysis, commenting, and reporting including presentation to and discussion with Board, Management, and Portfolio Management
  • Set-up and maintain appropriate benchmarks and performance attribution reports in all performance relevant systems
  • Identify and resolve process breaks & inefficiencies and ensure the integrity of input data for and output data of performance processes
  • Quality control the reliability of the externally sourced pricing feeds (“Independent Price Verification”)
  • Communicate effectively to internal stakeholders (e.g., Corporate Risk Management, Investment Accounting, etc.)
  • Support in the quarterly NAIC rating review process

 

What you bring:

  • 2-3 years’ experience required: Investment performance experience
  • Four-year degree required: Four-year degree in Finance, Math, Economics, or related quantitative field.
  • CFA charter considered an advantage
