Reporting directly to the Chief Administrative Officer for Allianz Investment Management (AIM) in the United States, the position is responsible for the execution and management of talent programs and communications across the firm.  We are looking for a highly motivated person who is passionate about developing programs and people who will further strengthen our firm's skills and capabilities. This position will be responsible for the leadership and management of our internship program and our rotational development program.  This includes managing and developing 2-6 members of our analyst pool through their rotations. Management of the designated "flex" analyst pool is integral for work on key investment functions and projects spanning across AIM departments.  This position involves regular performance management responsibilities, effective leadership and motivation and maintenance of a positive and productive work environment.


  • Design, develop and deliver AIM's internship program to deliver high quality candidates which are accepted into our rotational development program. Design, develop and deliver highly attractive rotational development program (Delta) to grow the future talent for the firm. 
  • Team Management - Prioritizes, directs and monitors team of analysts to meet needs of internal AIM and external Operating Entity clients.  Provides training and mentorship to develop these high potential members for future growth into other AIM departments. 
  • Partner with senior leadership to drive and support AIM’s employee engagement efforts to strengthen and sustain a vibrant, engaged and rewarding culture and environment. Coordination of analysis and action plans from the annual engagement survey.
  • Supports driving programs and actions that foster diversity and inclusion.
  • General support of CAO and CEO on organizational matters, including space planning, firm-wide communication, create and maintain AIM’s personnel policies and code of conduct. Coordinate with local and global HR as needed in these efforts.


What you bring:

  • 6-7 years’ experience required
  • 4-5 years’ experience in people management/development preferred
  • Investments and financial services experience, plus a minimum 2+ years leadership experience managing interns/staff. A strong personal desire to develop others professionally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Four-year degree preferred - Finance, Accounting, Actuarial or equivalent
