NO MOTOR RETAIL ACTUARY - IT EXPERT

JOB PURPOSE/ROLE
The candidate would be required to be, within the Actuarial Non Motor Retail Office, the focal point of the full spectrum of activities regarding the implementation and update/maintenance in Radar Live of the tariffs, discount, UW rules, renewal etc. for all Non Motor Products
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implementation of the tariff (both technical and commercial), discount, UW rules, renewal process in Radar Live in accordance with technical specification provided by Pricing Actuaries, Product Development and Anti-Fraud people
- Follow the entire release process, from implementation to test phase to go live in alignment with IT and in compliance with Governance
- Checking and follow-up of system errors/defects in cooperation with IT
- Assess on a regular basis the quality and correctness of the models and of the tariff implemented to avoid regression problems
- Coordination of activities to be carried out with support of junior resources to be supervised and trained
- Interface with other corporate functions on business or regulatory issues
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of Radar Live
- Ability to coordinate activities and training of junior resources
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Preferably but not binding:
- knowledge of Tower Watson Suite
- knowledge of Python/R
- knowledge of IT background
- knowledge of business rules of main Non Motor insurance products
- Flexibility and ability to learn new tools/programming languages
- Ability to work independently as well as engage and interact with different stakeholders
- Be proactive in constantly improving tools and approaches to be market leading
