LIFE ACTUARY - LIFE RESERVE CALCULATION

The Life Reserve Calculation department in the Actuarial Department of Allianz Italia is looking for a Life Actuary. The Life Reserve department covers the following areas of responsibility, for all the Italian Life Companies of the Group:

• Statutory and IFRS reserve calculation: calculation and validation of statutory and IFRS reserve, maintenance of the reserve platform calculation and IFRS life profit source analysis
• SII Technical Provision calculation: calculation and analysis of movement of the SII Technical Provision, sensitivity analysis and QRT’s reporting preparation
• New IFRS 17 accounting principle: deep dive analysis of the LRC (Liability for Remaining Coverage) components
• IAS 19 valuation: calculation of the provision for the employee benefits
• Cash flow calculation for ALM strategy as well as for supporting the assessment of additional provision for interest rate risk 
• Reporting activity: Allianz SE Group reporting, supporting to actuarial function and documentation required by the local regulator and audit company

 KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Master’s degree in Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics,  Economics (with a strong quantitative specialization) or equivalent background
• Experience (2/3 years) in Life or Consultancy actuarial departments
• Knowledge actuarial software or equivalent (e.g RAFM / PROPHET)
• High technical knowledge connected with programming skills
• High knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office applications as well as familiarity  in working with data bases
• Team spirit, self-motivation and a proactive and committed working style
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Team player
• Fluency in Italian and English, written and spoken
