Job Purpose/Role

We are looking for a Facultative Reinsurance Expert for our Reinsurance Technical Department. This role requires proactive interaction with the other insurance, technical and financial areas of the Company to ensure the best cooperation Interaction with the Company’s functional areas, with Allianz Re, other Group Companies and the external market.

Key Responsibilities

•    Commercial, technical, administrative and organizational activities related to the facultative reinsurance of Allianz Spa and other Group Companies in Italy
•    Ensure consistency with the pre-established optional strategies, the achievement of the Group objectives and  compliance with deadlines
•    Proactively interact with the other insurance, technical and financial areas of the company to ensure the best cooperation Interaction with the Company’s functional areas, with the Allianz Re, with the other OEs and with the external market (reinsurers and brokers)

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

•    Master’s degree in economics or law
•    Proven experience (e.g. 2 years) in reinsurance at well-known insurance companies or brokers
•    Good knowledge of the management of facultative’s negotiations, especially Non-Life 
•    Good knowledge of the reinsurance market
•    Fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken)
•    Availabity to occasional travels
•    Very good knowledge in Office 365 and other collaborative tools Entrepreneurial mindset
•    Team spirit, self-motivation and a proactive and committed working style, as well as ability to interact in an global work environment with people from different countries and cultures
•    Proven ability to communicate clearly and constructively with all levels including senior management, within a multi-cultural organization
•    Ability to work independently as well as engage and interact with different stakeholders
•    Strong ability to work under pressure and sharply meet deadlines
•    Experience in managing the administrative activities related to the facultative negotiations
