JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

 

 

The Compliance function within Allianz strives for Group-wide effective and efficient Compliance processes supported by global tools and solutions. The incumbent shall manage several Compliance projects comprising of new topics, redesigning processes as well as implementation and improvement of tools/applications and solutions. The project manager will interact extensively with the Group Compliance teams in Munich and work closely together with Allianz OE’s globally and Allianz Technology where needed.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Create and align joint project plans together with Group Compliance subject matter experts as well as local Compliance departments and Allianz Technology where needed
  • Coordinate and support project plan maintenance, prioritization of activities, risk and issue management including mitigations and escalation
  • Interface between users and AZ Technology as IT Service Provider.
  • Analyze and identify opportunities to optimize existing tools both from a functional as well as technical point of view in strong collaboration with topic experts, local Compliance functions as well as AZ Technology.
  • Keep track of the Compliance tool portfolio in terms of list of tools, number of users and legal entities/countries.
  • Managing license requirements in collaboration with AZ Technology.
  • Contribute  to the harmonization and simplification of the Compliance IT landscape using modern technology (AI, Data Analytics, Automatization).
  • Drive continuous alignment with Allianz entities including best practice sharing, lessons learnt
  • Consult OEs in overall target operating model solutions
  • Ensure adherence to budgets and time lines including alignment and reporting to stakeholders and sponsors

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

 

  • University level degree in Economics, Business Administration or similar
  • Minimum of 3-5 years work experience in either compliance, finance, risk management, internal controls or internal audit
  • Experience in rolling out IT Solutions within IT / Compliance functions would be immensely useful
  • Agile Project methodology know-how and demonstrated experience in driving projects from inception to implementation
  • Understanding of risks and controls related to financial services industry
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • Very good Knowledge in MS Office
  • Team spirit, self-motivation and a proactive and collaborative working style, as well as ability to interact in a

global work environment with people from different countries and culture Communication effectiveness strength is emphasized
