Job Summary

This role will be responsible to conduct business development activities, recruitment of new agents and to spearhead all new initiatives to promote sales growth. The role will also oversee the collection of premium and to ensure complaince to all company's policy and guidelines.

 

Key Reponsibilities

  • Secure new business and recruitment of new agents
  • Achieve yearly GWP production plan/target
  • Achieve yearly premium collection plan/target
  • Ensure premiums are paid promptly by agents/clients within collection timeframes every month
  • Monitor monthly renewals/lapsations
  • Identify new business opportunities and propose marketing strategies
  • Handle surveys and risk assessments/improvements where necessary/appropriate
  • Service, train and maintain good working relationship with agents
  • Ensure all company guidelines are complied with i.e. U/W guideline, CBC regulations, AMLA
  • Carry out any other relevant duties/responsibilities assigned by Branch Manager/Head of Marketing/Unit Head as and when deemed necessary.

 

Key Requirements

  • Min Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in any related field. 
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in Sales/Business Development in related industry
  • Experience in servicing and maintaining good networking and working relationship with all agents including technical support, motivation and training. 
  • Familiar with policies and guidelines within the role (U/W guideline, CBC regulations, AMLA, etc)
