JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

The candidate would be required to provide support to the data analytics and modeling team and to the tariff system management team. The main
activities will cover different aspects of the value chain, such as data collection and exploration, predictive modeling, deployment on tariff systems.

The individual's key responsibilities are listed below:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Data collection and preparation for further analysis and modeling 

· Develop and update risk and behavioral models for Motor
Products using advanced statistical techniques
· Assessment on a regular basis of the quality and correctness of the models
· Data exploration analysis using internal and external database to check and improve the predictive power of the models
· Evaluation of overall Rate Requirement
· Scenario Testing analysis to evaluate the impact of different tariffs on portfolio performance
· Development of reports based on updated predicted KPI's
· Continuous alignment with Group best practices and technical documentation update
· Interface with other business functions
· Implementation of predictive models in tariff systems


KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

· 2/3 years of experience in Insurance Company/Consultancy Firms with focus on P&C Pricing
· Good knowledge of the whole Tower Watson Suite: Emblem, Classifier, Radar
· Territorial clustering techniques
· SAS, Python, VBA
· Advanced analytical skills (GLM/Machine Learning approach)
· Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
· Ability to work independently as well as engage and interact with different stakeholders
· Curious about new approaches to Pricing and committed to continually increase technical knowledge
· Proactive approach
· Fluent in Italian and English
