JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

The candidate would be required to provide support to the data analytics
and modeling team. The main activities will cover different aspects of the value chain, such as data collection and exploration and multi-variate modeling.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Data collection and preparation for further analysis and modeling
  • Development and update of multivariate models for Motor Products
  • Assessment on a regular basis of the quality and correctness of the models
  • Data exploration to improve model predictiveness
  • Scenario Testing analysis to evaluate the impact of different tariffs
    on portfolio performance
  • Development of reports based on updated predicted KPI's
  • Continuous alignment with Group best practices and technical documentation update
  • Interaction with other business functions


KEY REQUIREMENTS
 

  • Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial science
  • Good knowledge of the main multivariate analysis techniques
  • Proficient in SAS and SQL
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently as well as engage and interact with different stakeholders
  • Curious about new approaches and committed to continually increase technical knowledge
  • Proactive approach
  • Strong ability to work under pressure and sharply meet deadlines
  • Fluent in Italian and English

 


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

 

  • 2/5 years of experience in Insurance Company/Consultancy Firms with
    focus on Motor Pricing
  • Good knowledge of the Willis Tower Watson Suite: Emblem, Classifier,
    Radar
  • Good knowledge of the python language
  • Basic knowledge of the main machine learning algorithms
