Job Purpose/Role

Allianz SE Holding IT is managing all IT Services required for the business operations of Allianz SE. The Senior IT Demand and Process Manager is responsible for overseeing the relationship to the internal service provider Allianz Technology and the contractual framework and for monitoring service supply with respect to service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities

  • You are an inspiring ambassador, promotor and lead integrator of IT Services within Allianz SE. 
  • You drive the innovation, delivery and adoption of the global shared services and create an environment with the confidence to take responsibility to implement the Group IT Strategy
  • Together within various Teams across H4 and Allianz Technology you set, develop and evolve the group strategy for IT services and lead the execution of this strategy.
  • With your solid functional, technical understanding of IT services, industry trends and people leadership skills, you are overall responsible to ensure the translation into execution via Quarterly Business Review / Product Increments Planning approach.
  • Closely interact with all stakeholders (e.g. Allianz SE Board Offices, Senior Stakeholder, …) to optimize service offering
  • Align relevant governance bodies (e.g. Workplace Advisory Board, Customer Solution Groups, Global Architecture Board, among others) on strategic plans and demand planning
  • Collect demands/ requirements from Allianz SE internal entities (e.g. Board Offices, …) and Senior Management Stakeholder
  • Provide consultancy to stakeholders on how to connect / implement business requirements to IT
  • Support the definition of a project portfolio and roadmaps that feeds into the mission of Allianz SE retained IT 

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • Professional and intellectual IT ability at university level -at least Bachelor's degree
  • 10 Years+ work experience in leadership roles, also in agile organizations
  • Servant leader to empower and to coach others based on your professional experience
  • Track record of increasing performance and organizational health by applying Agile and DevOps principles
  • Track record of building followership from engineering to management level
  • Very strong command of spoken and written English

  • Good understanding of interdependencies within organization
  • Fact and data based decision taking (both in day-to-day management and in contributing to determining strategic planning)
  • Mindset of continuous improvement of the demand management and way of working
  • Strong problem solver to structure and improve complex situations while being Result oriented -adapts approaches to situations
