We are looking for a Senior Financial Data Analyst (m/f/d) who is able to take over service ownership and strategically improve our operational processes. Our team is responsible for delivering reliable services in a dynamic environment to provide the downstream services with high-quality data. With our data management and reporting solutions we support one of the world’s leading financial institutions in its sustainability approach. The focus of your work will be on supporting our daily service delivery as well as the setup of the newly created services in the area of ESG (environment, social and governance) topics.

  • Take over ownership for the establishment of ESG services within our team
  • Quality assurance of all relevant data sets (investment, portfolio and market data) for providing downstream services with high-quality data
  • Proactively identify process improvements and work with experts from other departments to ensure the continuous improvement of our services
  • Drive the development of our operational framework (e.g. improvements for data quality checks, KPI definitions)
  • Perform data investigations related to complex client inquiries about the content of reports
  • Involvement in projects with a focus on “Transition to Operations”



  • University degree related to finance with IT-background and profound work experience in this area
  • In-depth financial know-how, especially in the context of investment data
  • High data affinity and experience in data analysis, preferably with relational databases (SQL, PL/SQL)
  • Proactivity and strong sense of responsibility combined with the ability to see the big picture while paying attention to details at the same time
  • Independent way of working, process-oriented thinking and a strong service attitude
  • Understanding and first experiences in the ESG area are a plus
  • Experience in working with or management of service providers is an advantage
  • Team player mentality, creativity and problem-solving mentality
  • Strong communication and co-operation skills
  • Fluent in English, German is an advantage
