Who will you be joining?

At Allianz SE, Group Technology drives the technology and IT architecture transformation of Allianz Group - moving one of the largest global financial service providers towards a technology-driven company and embracing technology innovation at the core of our business.


As a Senior Enterprise Architect within the global Technology Architecture & Innovation team, you are responsible for shaping and driving our global technology strategy and strategic architecture of Identity & Access Management, contributing to our vision as a technology-driven insurer. Influencing the overarching way we at Allianz do global business, you will be closely working with technology experts, IT architects, business sponsors and product owners.         


How can you make an impact?


  • Act as principle Enterprise Architect for the global Identity & Access Management domain in Allianz Group
  • Define the strategic architecture for all global IAM assets, and closely work with subject-matter experts on business requirements, regulatory and information security paradigms, and solution architecture
  • Closely work with business platform and IT infrastructure teams to position IAM as enabling function towards business platforms, and with information security teams to build best-in-class safeguarding mechanisms
  • Create heatmaps, roadmaps, and KPIs to prioritize and to structure Allianz' global IAM transformation, and actively drive the transformation with operating entities as well as business and platform owners
  • Conduct research and analysis as well as coordinate case studies and pilots around upcoming technologies and vendor solutions and make matching recommendations
  • Contribute to defining the technology vision and strategy for Allianz Group overall, and contribute IAM related priorities, topics and technology aspects
  • Prepare and deliver architecture and technology briefings, including presentations, talks and white papers
  • Work across the company to drive adoption of technical standards, design principles, and architecture methodologies
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other architects and engineers
  • Travel for meetings, technical reviews, and other onsite activities        


What are you made of?


Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 10-15 years of relevant working experience in Identity & Access Management architecture, platform architecture, strategic and solution IT architecture, IT strategy, or platform delivery
  • Ms or Phd degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • Demonstrated experience in Identity & Access Management architecture or leadership, or product ownership
  • Demonstrated architecutre and transformation experience across a wide range of industries and organizations
  • Excellent proficiency in IAM architecture and technology, overarching product or platform architecture, preferably through Enterprise Architecture or solution architecture experience in a large-scale platform or product context
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills targeted at a diverse audience, with an emphasis on the ability to influence effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the technology and IT architecture space, and communicate to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Work experience in a highly diverse, international environment
  • Previous experience in business related functions (e.i. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in insurance or asset management is a plus
