Who will you join?
Within Allianz SE, Group Risk (GR) is in charge of managing risk to bolster Allianz's financial strength and to support value-focused company leadership. As such Group Risk is responsible for monitoring and reporting on the Group's overall risk profile, and thus ensuring that individual Allianz companies adhere to the Group's risk governance principles.
Insurance Coverage I: Key business partner for local risk management function and respective global functions to ensure risk-return adequate decisions and the avoidance of unacceptable or excessive risk. We ensure robust and efficient risk control functions in covered local companies and support them in the continuous development of their Enterprise Risk Management System.
How can you make an impact?
You will:
- Be the key contact of local Chef Risk Officer (CRO) with continuous interaction on all risk matters
- Coordinate with key stakeholder in the Group Center
- Participate in and contribution to the relevant risk steering processes (Local Risk Committee, Local Investment Committee, M&A etc.)
- Review and analyze Solvency II closing and planning packages
- Lead of a transversal Group Risk (GR) process (subject to candidates profile)
What are you made of?
Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in finance / economics or actuarial science
- Excellent English language skills (written and spoken) and good French language skills (written and spoken)
- Advanced knowledge in Excel
- Good Knowledge of MS Office
- Previous experience in business related functions (i.e., Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Broader insurance background (> 10 years)
- Experience in Risk Management / Actuarial and Solvency II internal model (> 5 years)
- Experience in quantitative Financial Risk Management of an insurance company (> 2 years)
- Experience in operational SII closing process (> 2 years)
- Willingness to effectively communicate on all levels including Group and local senior management
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
