We are looking for a motivated Senior Consultant (m/f/d) to join our Productivity Excellence Practice Area and support us on a broad range of international projects.

 

Are you interested in driving transformation initiatives for a global player? Do you have experience in consulting and/ or financial services operations (e.g. P&C insurance, life insurance, reinsurance, asset management or shared services)? Then this job is for you!

 

Key responsibilities

  • Complete all assignments under the guidance of an Engagement / Project Manager, including all project deadlines and deliverables, troubleshooting and problem resolution, conflict management, client and stakeholder management and all other relevant aspects of the assignments
  • Analyze customer needs and develop innovative concepts to best serve them
  • Contribute to pitches under the guidance of an Engagement Manager
  • Provide consulting support to existing clients while ensuring effective and efficient key account management and support more junior project team members
  • Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the assigned tasks until completion
  • Discuss with the Engagement Manager ideas of possible future client needs that may lead to projects
  • General contribution to Allianz Consulting
  • Ensure adequate development of colleagues via coaching, mentoring, personal development, and training

 

Key requirements /skills /experience

Qualification, Certification and Experiences

  • University Degree
  • Operational business (in financial services) and/or consultancy experience for more than 3 years
  • Experience in Project- and Program Management methods and techniques, process development and continuous improvement
  • Experience in change management, quality management, integration, and re-organization
  • High attendance to learn and develop
  • Strong team player with high assertiveness and ability to work under pressure with limited guidance
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, conceptual and implementation experience
  • Communication, presentation, sales, and conflict management skills
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in written and spoken English

 

Desired requirements /skills /experience

  • Insurance business experience
  • International work experience outside home country (min. 6 months)
