Job Purpose/Role
We are looking for an intern (m/f/d) to strengthen our Equity Valuation, Investment Controlling & Risk Management department in Munich preferably for 6 months starting in January.


Key Responsibilities

  • Controlling and risk management of Allianz’ direct equity infrastructure, renewables and private equity fund investments
  • Support in the valuation process of Allianz’ direct and indirect portfolio in close collaboration with the investment teams
  • Preparation of risk and model analysis at investment and portfolio level
  • Carrying out market and competitor analysis (e.g. using Bloomberg and Capital IQ)
  • Support in the onboarding of new investment strategies from a valuation and risk management perspective
  • Preparation of presentations for senior management, Allianz committees and external investors
  • Further development of investor reporting
  • Ad hoc projects on valuation, risk, accounting, planning and IRFS reporting topics


Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • Advanced studies in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics or a comparable degree program; ideally specialised in finance, controlling or risk
  • First class internship experience preferably in the areas of corporate finance or risk management
  • Excellent MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured, independent work style
  • A high level of motivation, excellent communication skills and strong team spirit
  • Written and oral proficiency in English required, working knowledge of German is a plus
