JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

The team “IT Tools and Infrastructure” manages the communication to the Group IT provider, including IT provider related Change-/ Problem and Incident Management and escalation. As part of this dynamic team, your key responsibilities will be to support the change and provider management components for all IT systems and components managed within IDS and by our IT provider. In this role you have the possibility to take part in Governance Boards and interact with various Allianz entities.

We are constantly improving our processes, and because of that always have an open ear for your ideas.

You could expect flat hierarchies in which experts with a wide variety of technical and professional backgrounds work together across teams on exciting projects. Apart from that we offer an extensive onboarding program to support your entry into IDS GmbH.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Incident handling in the area of workplace and infrastructure topics and communication towards the provider as well as within IDS
  • Problem Management in the area of workplace and infrastructure topics towards the provider
  • Handling of provider driven IT changes including documentation, tracking and escalation
  • Independent ordering of IT infrastructure components and software
  • Support development and continuous improvement of required processes

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • University degree/Apprenticeship in (business) information technology, mathematics, economics with IT focus or comparable degree
  • Professional experience in IT working with e.g. ITIL processes, IT projects, IT providers or IT technical teams
  • Experience in the handling of Major Incidents
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes especially in the areas of Incident-/ Change and Problem Management
  • Basic knowhow of IT infrastructure, systems and applications
  • Experience of working with IT providers is an advantage
  • High level of customer orientation
  • Structured, analytical and target orientated working approach
  • Ability to escalate topics, if necessary
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player 
  • Fluent in English, German skills highly appreciated
