Employee Benefits Pricing Actuarial Specialist (m/f/d)

The role is part of the MEB Underwriting Team and is responsible to ensure the actuarial and pricing frame for the global risk management programs. In this function he/she is also acting as an senior UW for complex cases in the team to drive efficient and timely underwriting and onboarding with the Network of Insurers (geographical split) for all local group policies within the global Risk Management programs including the lines of business Life, Accident, Disability and Medical.
Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Prepares actuarial analysis of rating factors, premium rate values, claim reserves, profitability estimates.
- Works with senior management to communicate results of actuarial research and impact in business strategy.
- Develop and maintain analytics related to pricing assumptions of Global Schemes. Utilize these results to help drive quoting strategies in the AGB business segments.
- Improve pricing accuracy and alignment via methodology studies related to end-to-end pricing, such as: experience credibility, blended claims projection, renewal methodology, underwriting adjustments, and total rate build up.
- Develop quotation models that Underwriting Team will use for case level UW.
- Support Underwriting Team questions related to end-to-end pricing assumptions,
Requirements/Skills/Experience:
- Experience in actuarial modelling and development of pricing tools in an global employee benefits environment
- Commercially minded with strong entrepreneurial understanding and ability to think with accurate business acumen and to support the underwriting, tender and account management functions with string costumer first focus
- Excellent technical background in Captive, Pooling and Global Underwriting
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and proactively in very complex environment
- Team player with ability to work well under pressure
