JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

Join us as Business Analyst (m/f/d) for Asset Owner Services in the team SDM Investment Management. You will support our teams in providing outstanding services and solutions in the context of investment management reporting.

You are responsible for deep dive data analysis, process optimization and the design and continuous improvement of customized reporting solutions for our clients. The Asset Owner Services department has a strong focus on investment management reporting related topics, e.g. ESG, SolvencyII, IFRS9, compliance topics, pre-processing of local data, derivatives reporting etc., and combines technical expertise with profound business knowledge.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creation of design proposals and specification of new (reporting) requirements together with our service delivery managers and experts
  • Coordination of IDS colleagues and Allianz expert teams
  • Steering and coordination of implementation of new requirements
  • Analysis and fixing of data or process errors to ensure excellent data and report quality
  • Living a culture of openness to innovation and driving and implementing continuous improvement
  • Close collaboration with our service line colleagues to ensure stable operations
  • Third level contact for our clients
  • Ad hoc analysis of requests and process failures including creation of mitigation measures

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • University degree  preferably in economics, business administration, business information technology, mathematics, physics and/or an equivalent experience in finance
  • Capital market, finance and/or accounting knowledge
  • Experience with databases (Oracle/SQL)
  • Experience with Business Intelligence applications (e.g. PowerBI, COGNOS) is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer and service orientation
  • High degree of analytical thinking, motivation, autonomy and an above-average willingness to perform
  • IT affinity and strong background in data processing
  • Fluent in English and in German
